It all started shortly before midnight Tuesday, July 16. A downpour that netted San Pancho a real drenching.
For a few brief moments, the rain rate reached more than 6 inches an hour just a few minutes into July 17th.
And the lightening was a non-stop affair for nearly an hour. Though most of it was about five to 10 or more miles away, the sky stayed lit throughout and a few bolts hit nearby followed by resounding thunder.
By 1 a.m. the storm gave us more than an inch and a half of rain, bringing the July total to more than 8 inches and the annual amount to more than 12 inches. And it is still raining!
