Sure, we’ve had a few days without rain in the past couple of weeks. But as I check the records and chat with folks, we are well on our way to a successful (read: normal) rainy season in San Pancho. More than 14 inches as I write this … well ahead of last year.
But I pose a question for those with more history in town than I: Where’s our river? Just came back from Bucerias and took the time to look down as crossing the bridge into our little pueblo.
No river. Not even any ponding of water. Que pasa? A couple of weeks back I know I saw the river flowing. Not so you’d go rafting or anything. But there was some water flowing for a day or two.
Is someone building a hydroelectric plant upstream?
