Semana Santa in San Pancho

The weather is great and Semana Santa is here. As anyone who has lived in Mexico for a while knows, this holiday eclipses just about all others for family vacations and gatherings.

So get ready to enjoy it if you are here with us. Such a somber religious holiday is the cause for much celebration as the church calendar reaches Easter Sunday. With schools out for two weeks and government offices and banks closed on Good Friday and Saturday, the crowds come to Nayarit and Jalisco.

And to some extent, San Pancho. We’ll give you a glimpse of it all (well the public parts of it anyway) at the San Pancho Weather Station Photo Gallery.

You’ll find our first installment here.
