Spanning the Aroyo

The day has arrived! The first two spans of the new bridge at San Pancho showed up today. By mid-afternoon, a crane had them in place. Two down, four to go!

Follow the continuing story of the new San Pancho San Francisco bridge at San Pancho Weather. What a good holiday present for our pueblo!

Update: By the end of the day, all six spans were in place. Next morning, a few brave young men we walking into town across the structure! I’ll wait for the bridge bed to be completed. Meantime, construction has resumed at the site of the new Pemex station at the town’s entrance.
