The San Pancho Weather Station Returns

The San Panco Weather Station has been offline, but it will return. It’s one of the most often viewed sites for San Francisco, Nayarit, MX. And the good news is it could be online as soon as June. So stayed tuned and check back!

A series of technical and life events brought the station down in March. But as things can unravel they can be raveled again. The weather station will return with its full eight years of San Pancho weather data.

Thanks to everyone who has enquired about my meteorological hobby. I enjoy keeping track of our (mostly) perfect weather here on the Riviera Nayarit. It’s good to know you do too!

  1. Welcome back! Glad you’ve weathered the storm!

  2. Thank goodness!

  3. Hey you wouldn’t know how high the wind speed was last night?

    • Pam: Without the weather station its impossible to say what the wind speeds were. I can say the middle of the night storm was the most violent I’ve seen in the eight years I’ve been here. Branches and debris all over town. Swaths of downed limbs along Rt. 200 between here an Sayulita. Definitely a unique weather event with heavy thunderstorms, deafening lightning, heavy rain and heavy cyclonic winds.
